Description
This remarkable 1955 Boles Aero Ensenada is a true barn find with an unusually complete and well-preserved original interior. It was featured in the July–August 2016 issue of Vintage Camper Trailers Magazine.

The 24-foot, single-axle trailer was discovered in 2011 inside a large barn on a wheat farm in eastern Oregon. The original owner’s parents had purchased it new, and its door had not been opened since the trailer was last used in 1974.

After decades in storage, the interior was found to be amazingly complete. The beautiful birch paneling, original upholstery, curtains, Venetian blinds, knobs, Bakelite handles, bathroom fixtures, and other details were still intact and in excellent condition. The birch did not need to be sanded or refinished, and the original interior remains the star of this special trailer.

The Boles Aero has since been thoroughly cleaned, carefully preserved, mechanically improved, and enjoyed on extended winter stays in Palm Springs. It remains in excellent working condition and offers an exceptionally comfortable layout with plenty of storage.

The Duo-Therm furnace heats the trailer quickly and operates without smoke or fumes. The five-gallon water heater provides plenty of hot water for showering. Its twin beds are easy to make, and the open floor plan makes it comfortable for longer stays.

As a park model, the trailer does not have freshwater or waste-holding tanks and is intended to be connected to campground utilities.

This is a rare opportunity to own a wonderfully original Boles Aero with a documented history, an exceptional interior, and useful upgrades that make it ready to enjoy. It would make an impressive rally trailer, seasonal retreat, guesthouse, or centerpiece for a serious vintage trailer collection.
