Description
Fully restored to modern levels, while emphasis in keeping it as ‘original’ as possible. Open floorplan to not feel ‘closed in’. 50 AMP electrical system: stranded THHN wire in all gauge sizes; Converter provides 12 Volt lighting in all lights but in the shower; plenty of outlets throughout; stayed with toggle switches following original design; most light fixtures are original [rebuilt with new components]. Battery on tongue. New propane lines: one on each side under kitchen cabinets. Propane on-demand water heater for unlimited hot water. Interior: almost half is the original Sapele plus furniture grade Mahogany; fully insulated with Rock Wool [walls, ceiling, both doors, and full underbelly]; large hanging closet; custom curtains on original curtain rods; custom aluminum blinds on two kitchen windows; new front windows; blue, Marmoleum click-lock flooring throughout; original cabinetry; not one, but two “shaving sinks”; both Stainless Steel sinks original, but polished; new, front, overhead cabinet. Low profile Air Conditioner; modern, 14x14” vents. Tire Pressure Monitoring System [TPMS]; Furrion rear view camera. Full bathroom: commode; large shower with Nautilus retractable shower door. Bedroom: foam mattress; huge storage area under bed; big headboard with storage sections and 110Volt outlet; bathroom door provides privacy when left open. Shaving sink has hot/cold water. Couch in front an pull out into a comfortable bed; flanked by cabinets. Custom vinyl door panels snap in place; two screen doors; second ‘shaving sink’ is a copy of the rear, original ‘shaving sink’, but without water or sink. Modern plumbing: Black and gray water tanks; fully plumbed; 14 Gal/Min Macerator pumps waste out with a standard water hose [no “stinky-slinky” sewer hose!]; modern control panel in rear shaving sink to check tank levels, battery level, and control the Macerator pump. Fully enclosed, insulated underbelly with cutout for a spare tire carrier; four leveling jacks. Tongue was lengthened 12+” for additional distancing from tow vehicle. Reasonably light weight for a 26 foot trailer [after lengthening the tongue 12”]. Trailer owls very nicely; we only used it once to attend the 2024 Spartan Rally in Florida. We towed it averaging 65-70 MPH from Missouri; we didn’t even use an ‘anti-sway’ bar with our F250 truck. Trailer now polished evenly. We didn’t install a table: merely use TV trays if eating inside; trays collapse and store inside the closet. To keep the floorplan open, we didn’t install a stove; we keep a two burner stovetop in its own compartment above the fridge. The fridge is new, but looks somewhat old school; the door locks closed when traveling, or open when in storage. The kitchen sink faucet is the original from 1946; shaving sink and shower have new hardware; commode has a hand sprayer for cleaning the commode. We have antique/vintage appliances and decor pieces period-correct for 1946; they include: Spartan reciprocating fan; Spartan sewing machine; even Spartan aspirin tablet tins. We have working vintage appliances: clock; radio; toaster; iron; cooking appliances; ice crusher; dedicated silverware and plates/cups; and many other items too numerous to mention. These items may/may not be included in the purchase price at a negotiable price. I can include some special tools for polishing, metal forming, woodworking, etc a very advantageous price. This trailer comes with a price evaluation made by Tim Heintz in May 2024 used for insurance purposes only. Ican provide additional photos; photo record of the restoration; and many of the records of work done by professional RV technicians. There is a Missouri Title; it has a current, Missouri license plate,
