1955 Airstream Ohio Built 18 footer SN# 2051

For your consideration is this ultra rare Airstream built in Ohio at the end of 1954 & sold as Serial Number 2051 indicating it was the First one off the assembly line. Only 5 units were built and sold in 1955 in this model. This is a 13 Panel Airstream-very desirable model small trailer Lightweight for use with a smaller vehicle or classic car. All original Alclad aluminum construction. Riveted body and solid steel undercarriage with Zero rust or rot. The flooring is solid wood with NO soft softs and considered to be in excellent condition considering its age (69 years). It is a classic, true- survivor, offered for sale, one of a kind!
It has its Original Hehr windows and dual roof vents. The twin bed layout offers sleeping arrangements for 2 adults and the dinette converts into additional bed to sleep 1 additional adult or 2 youth. The mattresses are new and custom made to match the originals with exact shape and have memory foam built in. The front dinette seats are brand new and have professionally recovered with memory foam and high quality upholstery. Wood Closet with original hardware offers a portable AC that comfortably cools the camper space and accommodates for hanging clothing and goods. 4 large pull out drawer space under the beds and overhead storage for supplies. New blackout curtains professionally installed that match the turn-key bedding and decor. New custom made matching Awning also included. Polish is presentable for camping but could be show-quality with a clean-up.
