Description
This is a completely refurbished 1959 Spartan bunkhouse travel trailer. Southern Pacific Railroad contracted with the Spartan Aircraft company to build them bunkhouse travel trailers for their maintenance workers to stay in while working on the railroad. They were not sold to the public. I completely gutted it down to the frame and replaced everything new from the frame up. New floor, wall, and ceiling insulation, new plumbing and electrical. New 3/8 inch hardwood glue down flooring. Custom bathroom. Custom maple cabinets and maple trim. All natural birch interior. 12 gallon AO Smith water heater, 30 amp power source with 6 circuit breaker box. LED recessed lighting. New exterior doors. New Dometic 310 toilet and space saving sink. New 8 inch memory foam mattresses. 40 inch smart tv. 9000 btu 23 sear mini split heat and air unit. New hitch, marker and tail lights with new wiring and 7 plug trailer wiring. New tires and wheels. New vintage Frigidaire refrigerator and induction glass cooktop. Walnut and leather mid century modern couch. The exterior was professionally polished. New electric trailer jack. Overall trailer length is about 30 feet and the trailer body is about 27 feet. This trailer has aluminum wall studs and ceiling joists. No wood. I have many progress pictures of this build. This is my 10th Spartan I’ve built. This is a very rare Spartan that would make a great Airbnb, guest house or lake house. $60k. Might consider interesting trades. Bentonville Arkansas.
