1959 Traveleze 17

Price REDUCED!! Now is the time to pick up this outstanding fully restored Traveleze 17. After a nearly two year restoration, this little gem is ready for camping, and use as a great guest room! The Traveleze is 17 feet long, including the tongue and 8 feet wide. It features the Traveleze signature three front windows with decorative iron work on the edges. Weighing less than 2000 pounds, it is easy to tow, especially with the custom load leveling /and anti-sway hitch system we added. It sleeps three with two on the convertible sofa / bed and one on the convertible dining table. The dining table can expand with two additional leaves so everyone can sit at the table. It even has an original toilet and shower behind their own sliding “pocket” door which is unusual for such a diminutive trailer. It has the original electric on-demand water heater and 20 gal, pressurized fresh water tank, but no waste water tanks. It has a large lighted closet and lots of storage.

It has been COMPLETELY redone to a very high standard. The restoration included the following:
• Replaced damaged roof, roof framing, and ceiling. The original roof framing was replaced with custom steel tubing for superior strength. Insulation was added.
• Replace all interior surfaces: floor, walls, ceiling, upholstery, paint and counter tops.
• Added Coleman low profile Mach 8 A/C with heat strips.
• Replaced entire electrical system.
• Upgraded the plumbing system with new sink and faucet.
• Replaced all propane system including polished aluminum tank
• Added dimmable LED undercounter lights and rebuilt original lights.
• Added hidden, built-in microwave.
• New Magic Chef refrigerator, hidden behind original door.
• Refurbished original Princess three burner stove.
• Replaced all window gaskets and seals.
• Custom curtains
• Refurbished entire undercarriage.
• Replaced running and tail lights with correct originals and converted to LED
• New wheels and wide white wall tires.
• New custom awning from Marti’s Awnings
• Custom load leveling / anti-sway system – tows like a dream.
• Polished entire trailer to a high shine (over 800 hours invested) with every exterior screw replaced with stainless steel.

This is a cozy camper redone to highest level. It is clean and classic.
