Description
14’ camper box, 17’ overall. Approximately 3000lbs. Pulls straight and easy. Electric brakes. Battery powered breakaway.
Shower and toilet (wet bath)! It's tight, but it works! Shastas in this size did not come with a bathroom in 1965, it was added by the previous owner during renovation, so all of the plumbing is newer. Has a black tank (aproximately 20 gallon) for toilet and shower, but no gray tank yet, so kitchen sink is plumbed straight to the drain hookup. Black tank has a valve that separates it from the sink drain line during full hookup operation.
Approximately 30gal fresh water.
LED lights throughout to save battery power. Several plugs throughout.
Wired for solar charging. 150w Portable Solar panel system included! Up to 4 house batteries in the locking box on the tongue, currently running 3 and have had no issues with running lights and water pump for a couple of days on battery.
Inverter switches between battery and shore power automatically. Battery charger automatically starts when hooked to solar or shore power.
Dual propane tank setup runs the water heater, stove, and original gas lamp.
Electronically controlled propane water heater. 2 of 4 propane stove top burners work, the others need new valves. Furnace heater lamp work great. Oven does not currently work, I believe it needs a new control valve.
2-way fridge. Works on 120v (technically 12v through the inverter as well, but sucks the batteries down fairly quickly if left on when not attached to shore power). Have not tested it on propane, but everything is there and hooked up.
Primary bed is a full that converts into a sofa. Dining table converts to single bed.
Full matching awning setup with poles.
Storage cover included
Includes the retro style blankets, pots and pans, cutlery, plates, various bits for setting up when parked, pretty much everything in the pictures plus hardware to get you set up and camping.
The bad: Some dents on the back exterior shelf, looks like old hail damage. A little bit of water damage from small leaks front and back windows. I fixed the front frame where water was collecting on part of the window frame, which seemed to stop the leak. We have never actually seen moisture around the back window, so it could have been from before the last time the window was sealed.
