1968 Norris Travel Trailer - 18’. Title in hand!
Extensive frame-on renovation that took 2 years, 2015-16.
Over $8k invested to bring her back to her former glory!
Sleeps 4 - jack knife sofa & convertible dinette
Partial wet bath - sink, vanity, shower, toilet w/ 22 gal black water tank, no gray water tank
Plenty of storage inside including cedar closet, rear storage trunk, loose spare tire
Not a lot of info out there, but I do know the trailer was built by Norris Industries in New Tazewell, TN
Still have many of the original manuals from the original parts

New stuff:
WFCO 8740P Ultra III Power Center and mostly new wiring throughout w/ all new period electric fixtures
Suburban SW6DE 6 gallon gas/electric water heater and all new fixtures and supply & waste plumbing
Separate black & gray water valves w/ waste piping for outdoor sink
Twin, color matched propane tanks and mostly new gas piping w/ outlet & hose for outdoor grill
Built-in A/C & heat window unit in place of old furnace
Built-in stainless steel 900w microwave & 3 burner cooktop in place of old stove
Operable roof vents with integrated 12v exhaust fans & bath fan
Reframed roof with rigid insulation and new interior sheathing
Replacement vinyl awning on original manual roll-up awning frame
Repaired soft spots in floor & new period vinyl sheet flooring
Composite tile-look shower surround
Boomerang laminate counters and table top
Interior paint, cushion covers, window treatments, stainless steel tile backsplash
Exterior rattle can paint job
Manual stabilizer jacks
7 pin trailer cord & junction box, breakaway trailer kit w/ battery & switch
Maxxis M8008 tires - approx. 1200 miles

Original stuff in good condition:
Metal roof with Eternabond roof seal and 4 coats of Dura-Brite white RV roof coating
Jalousie windows - all operate, a couple with a little help
Front rigid awning - operable
Wheels & electric brakes
Hubcaps
Running light lenses
Locking entry door & screened door
Mahogany veneered cabinetry & hardware
Dometic dual fuel refrigerator - electric side works well, propane not so much

Stuff that needs work:
Plumbing vent cap is missing
Brackets for roll-up awning
Evidence of leak at top of shower wall in bathroom
De-laminating drawer face below frig
Battery for breakaway trailer switch is dead
Left rear turn/brake wiring sometimes keeps taillight from working
Could use a freshened up exterior paint job

Our Norris has been a big part of our family and we hate to see it go.
Be prepared for a lot of attention and questions!
We’ll even throw in some lights and flamingos!
