2017 Gidget Retro Teardrop Camper - Noosa

This gem is full of creative detailing, and is ready to roll. The Gidget Retro Teardrop Camper was built to custom in 2017 in Australia, with all U.S. specs. The camper has only been on 4 short trips, and is very reluctantly being sold due to a physical injury in 2020 that has prevented me from being able to use it.

Everything shown in the photos is included, i.e., dishes, pots & pans, storage containers, leveling blocks, 30 amp electrical hookup, hammock, curtains, 3 types of antennas, portable toilet supplies, Alvantor privacy tent for shower & toilet, Coleman event shelter that can be set up to shade the camper & kitchen, and much more. Also included are detailed guides on the Gidget’s use and features.

Interior: Unique for a teardrop, the slide-out allows for a queen-size bed (81x59). There are 2 Sirocco fans and reading lights, as well as a convenient storage shelf, above the bed. The bed folds into a lounge conversion for eating, with a pull-out interior table. There is ample storage in the wall unit, including a 15 ½ cu ft wardrobe. A 12V outlet and double USB chargers are in the wall unit. There is a 10 ½ cu ft underfloor storage area. There are doors and windows on both sides of the camper. The two windows have insect screens, blackout shades, and a ventilation setting. The moonroof above the bed is covered by a removable curtain.

Kitchen: 2-burner gas cooktop GR-2BDCT. 17 ½ gallon Dometic Cool Freeze CF-80, removable if desired to enable an ice chest to be placed in the cabinet. The 24" full HD t.v. and the stereo radio/DVD player with storage area can be rotated so either is accessible from the outdoor kitchen or the interior dining/sleeping area. The Gidget control panel gauges, switches, and outlets are labeled and easily accessible above the t.v. on the kitchen side. A second double USB charger and 12V outlet are on the control panel. Power and water level are easily visible.

Exterior: Coleman Hot Water on Demand Shower unit. Camec portable toilet. 20# propane tank. Striking Tasmanian Myrtle wood both inside and out.

This unique camper is outfitted and ready to go on the road. It tows easily and tracks with the vehicle. I towed it with a Toyota Tacoma pickup. Every square inch of the camper was designed for storage and useability. The Gidget Retro Teardrop Camper draws attention and envy wherever it travels.
