1968 GMC Motorcoach for Sale.

This is a vintage 1968 Motor Coach GMC, it used to be a Greyhound bus that was converted. It has a Detroit Diesel engine 71 Series, so you need to be well informed on this specific type of engine, and it would be best if you know diesel engines. It has a 140-gallon gas tank so get ready for a lot of long adventures and not having to stop for gas all the time! If you are familiar with diesel engines and are looking for something unique then this is the bus for you! This motor coach was my father’s pride a joy! He took many adventures on this bus that included several trips to Sturgis and Florida.

There is a 7000-watt generator that is top of the line. The tires were replaced several years ago too they are in good condition. It also has a new hot water heater that was just purchased last year. The bus comes with all the hooks ups and hoses needed when staying in an RV campsite. My father had the bus repainted just a few years ago, so there is a fresh coat on the outside.

The kitchen has a sink, microwave, and refrigerator with an icebox. There is no stove in this motor coach, we always grilled out and stored a portable grill in the storage area. The couches in the main area of the bus both pull out to beds. There is a bedroom in the back with additional storage and a queen-size bed. This bus can sleep 6 people very comfortably. The bathroom has a standing shower, toilet, and sink. You have additional storage in the bathroom for your supplies and towels. There are also several closets and drawers, so you’ll never run out of storage space here.

The bus is a stick shift and it is unsynchronized so the new owner must know how to drive a vehicle like this. You must watch the speedometer to know when to shift. Also, an important thing to take note of my father did smoke inside, other than the smoke which we have been able to mitigate most, the interior of the bus is in good shape. It does need a little bit of love and updating but the overall mechanics on the bus are good. You can still purchase parts for this bus and this engine even at its age, parts are still available.

I am happy to answer any additional questions that you may have.

Kind Regards,
