Reservations: Make them by calling the campground directly. You will probably get an answering machine but leave a message with your number. They will call back. OR you can submitt a REQUEST on line. You do not have an official reservation until you receive the email confirmation stating your site number. We prefer reserving to keep trying by phone. If they don’t get back to you the same day call again the next day, that is my suggestion and how we do it. If they are full just keep trying as there are always cancelations \. I do not think they have a wait list. so calling is it.
It’s a very popular campground and often there is only one person in the office. This is a small campground so if you’re interested in coming or evening thinking you might like to go….. by all means make a reservation. They only charge you now for one night and their refund policy is for 24 hours before you arrival date so you cam easily cancel, and you can cancel on-line.
About Sequoia RV Ranch: It’s a beautiful, peaceful campground is off the main road 2.5 milestone or so, so that you don't hear any traffic noise, just the rushing river and birds. Some of the campsites are right on the river's edge and in the spring with the high white water rushing from the melting snow of nearby Sequoia and the High Sierras, it was pretty spectacular. Sometimes there are even kayakers go by just a few feet away.
Sierra RV Ranch has full hookups, electric and water only and dry camping, besides tent camping. Full Hook-up sites include cable. Their WiFi system they say covers the entire campground. The Bathhouse is equipped with sinks, counter tops, showers (coin operated), and a laundry room (coin operated). Several RV full hookup sites are right along the river. All sites include a fire ring, picnic table, and varying amount of shade. One highlight of the campground is a spring-fed swimming hole that is naturally maintained year round.
Nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills only 8 miles from the entrance of Sequoia National Park Sequoia RV Ranch offers fun and relaxing camping in a breathtaking natural setting. Open year-round, the ranch offers spacious and secluded campsites, many of which are positioned along the picturesque Kaweah River. Along with the hiking, biking, rafting, and expansive wildlife found at Sequoia National Park, a spring-fed swimming hole and a fishing hole are located on site, and nearby Kaweah Lake boasts excellent boating and water-skiing as well.
The quaint village of Three Rivers is only minutes away, and Visalia is within 30 miles. Exeter, a bit closer, is another quaint old town with thrift and antique shops. Both cities offer, artisans, restaurants, and seasonal events.
Sequoia RV Ranch is located 8 miles from the southern entrance of Sequoia National Park in the gateway town of Three Rivers, California.
Getting there: From Hwy 99 continue on 198 going east aprox 45 miles, past Kaweah Lake to the town of Three Rivers. As you come into Three Rivers you will see Comfort Suites on your right & the Market on your left. Approx. 3/4 of a mile is North Fork Dr. You can only turn left. Travel 2.2 miles. We are just past the "Kaweah" sign. Turn right into Sequoia RV Ranch.
Use caution so you don't pass us as there are not many options to turn around. Some GPS systems will send you past the entrance or have you turn on Kaweah Dr. off of North Fork. DO NOT FOLLOW THOSE INSTRUCTIONS - YOU WILL END UP ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE RIVER ON A DIRT ROAD & THERE IS NO WAY TO CROSS OVER. STAY ON NORTH FORK DR.: WARNING: GPS tracking systems tend to place Sequoia RV Ranch about 300 ft farther down the road then we really are. Please watch for signs, it can be difficult to turn around if you pass the ranch.
Please let Virginia and Charles know if you’ll be coming and enjoying a peaceful and relaxing time together with us. We will have a get-together "St Patties" potluck on Friday, campfires and a fun time.
