1969 Avion Argonaut Project

We've owned this trailer for more than 14 years and used it as often as we could. This is a 25' trailer, but that is including the rear bumper and tongue and it weighs only 4,190 pounds, dry. The "House" is 21'-4"' long, which makes the trailer a fantastic size.

The lay out is with a front dinette, side double bed, and rear bath. The interoir has birch cabinets and are all in good shape except one door below the refrigerator. MOR/ryde suspension system. Body is basically straight, frame appears solid. Tows great. Tires are good. We have the original manual. Our family is the third owner. The original owner was the owner of the dealership that sold Avions and he had the roof top AC removed so he could store the trailer inside his garage.

Floor issues around the door prompted us to take out the dinette and as we progressed, we discovered this was a project we weren't ready to take on at this time. The hot water tank was bypassed a few years back. The refrigerator worked great on propane or electric and is original. Water tank and black water tanks are good. The interior is partially disassembled, as units, and we have everything except the furnace because that didn't survive removal.

We really don't want to sell because we love the trailer, but we have to face the fact that the floor repair is beyond our abilities and we need our covered storage for our other vintage trailer.
