1978 Avion Motorhome

HELLO!! IT APPEARS THAT ALMOST TWO THOUSAND PEOPLE HAVE VIEWED THIS. DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS? WHAT DOES OBO MEAN TO YOU? I WOULD LIKE TO MOVE ON FROM THIS RIG AND I’M GETTING FAIRLY CLOSE TO DONATING IT AND I CANT EVEN TAKE THE TAX DEDUCTION !!
A renovation in progress. 22’’ 1978 Avion Motorhome. (Made briefly by Airstream) Clean title. 118K miles. Passed most recent smog. Mechanics say the engine is great. Started the renovation and ran out of energy and cash and sadly a decent and reasonable handyman in the local area.
The following have been done:
New holding tanks
New hood vent
New toilet
7 new tires on new 16” rims (original 16.5 tires are difficult to obtain)
New toilet and bathroom fixtures
New cushion covers and curtains
Painted interior (needs touch ups)
New memory foam for over cab bed
Roof has recently been sealed
Removed swivel chairs and installed a bench area with space under for storage or pet bed
Back up camera (needs programming)
New side mirrors
Includes a weather cover
Some things to continue or known to be in need of repair:
Possibly refrigerator
Floor started but needs finishing
Paint touch ups
Exterior needs new paint (face it, it’s old)
Replacing windows with double panes would add climate comfort.
AC cover blew off in recent high winds and needs to be put back on
Dining table needs a fix, but I have supplies to do it prior to sale.
Cab needs seats reupholstered and floor redone.
May need some electrical upgrade but electric systems are working.
Flakey handyman removed bathroom door and then lost it? Recommend barn door, curtain or new folding door
Asking $10K which does not even cover what I initially paid for it plus all the repairs/renovations done to date, especially the tires and rims.
